STYLISTIC  PROBLEMS

Reason : there is a complete independent clause and dependent clause, and match in tenses.

Reason :  the option C &  D are almost look alike. But if you translate it in Indonesian, it’s different at all. ‘Originally‘  in option C means : Awalnya. And ‘Original’ in option D means : Asli, that more suitable with the sentence. There are a number of words -ly could be misleading if we only see the words essentially alone. Reason :

Correction :

Reason :

Because the accident is already happen. It is perfectly ‘finish’. So, we should use the past perfect tense.

Correction :

A short time before her operation last month , Mrs.Carlyle  had dreamed  of her daughter who lives overseas.

Reason :

Because ‘the dream process’ is perfectly ‘finish’,  so we should use the past perfect tense.

Correction :

The atmosphere in Andalucia is open, warm, and welcome to all who have the good fortune to visit there.

Reason :

The sentence above must be parallelism. Open and warm, both of them are adjective.  So must be following with adjective too. Gives a welcome feeling is a new clause. Change it with welcome.

Correction :

Some of the people were standing in the street watching the parade, while others were singing songs.

Reason :

The sentence above must be parallelism. Standing and Singing, both of them are verb in present continuous / the happening event. So watched must be change with the same tenses too.

CSR secara umum diartikan sebagai kumpulan kebijakan dan praktek yang berhubungan dengan stakeholder, nilai-nilai, pemenuhan ketentuan hukum, penghargaan masyarakat dan lingkungan; serta komitmen dunia usaha untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan secara berkelanjutan ,Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) tidak hanya merupakan kegiatan karikatif perusahaan dan tidak terbatas hanya pada pemenuhan aturan hukum semata

Sedikitnya ada empat model atau pola CSR yang umumnya diterapkan oleh perusahaan di Indonesia, yaitu:

2. Melalui yayasan atau organisasi sosial perusahaan.

Perusahaan mendirikan yayasan sendiri di bawah perusahaan atau groupnya. Model ini merupakan adopsi dari model yang lazim diterapkan di perusahaan-perusahaan di negara maju. Biasanya, perusahaan menyediakan dana awal, dana rutin atau dana abadi yang dapat digunakan secara teratur bagi kegiatan yayasan. Beberapa yayasan yang didirikan perusahaan diantaranya adalah Yayasan Coca Cola Company, Yayasan Rio Tinto (perusahaan pertambangan), Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, Yayasan Sahabat Aqua, GE Fund.

3. Bermitra dengan pihak lain.

Perusahaan menyelenggarakan CSR melalui kerjasama dengan lembaga sosial/organisasi non-pemerintah (NGO/ LSM), instansi pemerintah, universitas atau media massa, baik dalam mengelola dana maupun dalam melaksanakan kegiatan sosialnya. Beberapa lembaga sosial/Ornop yang bekerjasama dengan perusahaan dalam menjalankan CSR antara lain adalah Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI), Yayasan Kesejahteraan Anak Indonesia (YKAI), Dompet Dhuafa; instansi pemerintah (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia/LIPI, Depdiknas, Depkes, Depsos); universitas (UI, ITB, IPB); media massa (DKK Kompas, Kita Peduli Indosiar).

4. Mendukung atau bergabung dalam suatu konsorsium.

Perusahaan turut mendirikan, menjadi anggota atau mendukung suatu lembaga sosial yang didirikan untuk tujuan sosial tertentu. Dibandingkan dengan model lainnya, pola ini lebih berorientasi pada pemberian hibah perusahaan yang bersifat “hibah pembangunan”. Pihak konsorsium atau lembaga semacam itu yang dipercayai oleh perusahaan-perusahaan yang mendukungnya secara pro aktif mencari mitra kerjasama dari kalangan lembaga operasional dan kemudian mengembangkan program yang disepakati bersama (Saidi, 2004:64-65).

Menurut saya,CSR sangat bermanfaat untuk masyarakat dan dapat meningkatkan image perusahaan. Sebab suatu rencana strategis di belakang program-program CSR bisa jadi akan memberi kontribusi bagi pengurangan kemiskinan dan ketidakadilan sosial di Republik ini. Dua masalah utama yang harus segera dihapus bersama agar martabat orang Indonesia tegak berdiri.Untuk melaksanakan CSR perusahaan harus mengakui bahwa permasalahan masyarakat adalah milik mereka juga. Tidak hanya itu, perusahaan juga harus bersedia menanganinya.
